NAFI Master instructor
Jen is a 3-time National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI) Master Instructor. She has written articles for NAFI magazine and currently co-authors a bi-monthly advice column called, “The Right Seat.”
Designated pilot examiner
Jen is a Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) for Sport, Private, Instrument and Commercial Pilot applilcants in both Airplane Single-engine and Multi-engine Land aircraft.
Aerobatics & IAC Judge
Jen competes in regional and national aerobatic contests at the Intermediate level. Jen has been a regional aerobatic judge since 2022 and judged at the National Aerobatic Championships in 2025.
aviation expert witness
Jen became a qualified expert witness in 2020 and completed her third case in 2026. She works with attorneys in aviation accident lawsuits by reviewing case material and providing reports, depositions and/or court testimony with her findings.
Formula 1 race pilot and chair
Jen raced Black Jack, a Formula One Cassutt at the last Reno Air Race in 2023. Since then she has become the Pilot Comittee Chairperson in charge of training and certifying the racers for Roswell’s National Championship Air Races.
Flight school owner
Jen is the Part 61 and Part 141 Chief Instructor and owner of AeroDynamic Aviation, an historic flight school founded in 1960 with locations in San Jose and Monterey, CA.
